Peer Groups For Teen Girls
Girl Peer Groups
Join us for a social group for teen girls! This group experience is an ideal forum for psycho-educational learning. We are social beings, and collaborating as a group allows for opportunities to improve our interactive skills, learn from others, and develop confidence and self-esteem in a social context. Our group curriculum will focus on building skills sets in the following areas, using The Collaborative Problem-Solving Approach:
- Emotion regulation
- Peer pressure
- Executive functioning
- Language processing
- Self-esteem
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Impulsivity
- ADHD
Plus, participants will learn how to stick up for their rights, find supportive friends, deal with cyberbullying, and overcome social isolation.
We Will Utilize a Variety of Tools in Each Group Session, Including All of the Following:
• Mini-lessons
• Group activities
• Handouts
